Our award-wining in-house production team specialise in creating short and striking films. Recent work includes a 30 part series for BBC Arts about the exiled activist group, Belarus Free Theatre, a short video series for Zurich-based blockchain pioneer, Melonport Protocol to be released in 2019, and several videos and a brand film for the aweome luxury bespoke knifemaker maker, Savernake Knives, in Wiltshire, UK.
With the burgeoning communications capacity of social media and digital communications, well made video is more important than ever. This is quite simply music to our filmmaking ears.
Gingerwink’s heritage is in video and film production. Previously Georgie was the third member of the launch team of Al Jazeera English and was responsible for the global channel's documentary acquisitions and commissions; developing the daily documentary show, Witness. She produced and directed Return to Somalia with Rageh Omaar for Al Jazeera, and as a journalist also reported on the independence of Kosovo. The company's first projects were the short documentary The Poet of Baghdad (22mins) for Al Jazeera, and the award-winning short drama Baghdad Express funded through Film London's Pulse programme and made in partnership with brilliant exec Tom Benski and Marissa Clifford at Pulse Films. All this is to say: we know how to make films.
Well made video keeps things fresh, and direct.
